Hello, I don't know if I am posting into the right section.

I did a forum search and found nothing. But, I would like to change the colour of my LED light when I get a text message.

I updated my Android OS with the update, so I'm guessing it is now Android 2.1 in my phone?

I have tried all of the apps in the Market, and none of them seem to work

Please tell me if there is any way to do this, or any app that actually works?

Have you tried Handcent SMS?
It lets you change the LED colour for notifications.

yeah, that's one that I tried. But, when I did the notification test.. nothing happened.

should I try it and wait until I get an actual text message through?

Go for the Handcent. I had it when I had the G1 and it was working great. Had a lot of different colors.

Okay, thanks guys.

Am I able to turn off the internal messaging system, so I don't get two notifications when I get a text?

Set the Handcent app as the default sms app.

in eclair can be tricky...
in the system txt messages app you might have to turn off notifications (settings, then tick the notifications options).
That way only the handcent notifs will pop up.

@All
There's an app in the market called 'Blink' which lets you set different colors for different notifications. Hope that helps.
