I seem to think that we can check any POP3/IMAP mail. I can check my broadband (RoadRunner here in Ohio, USA) but when I try to check my e-mail through my web hosting, I'm having a heck of a time connecting. It simply doesn't. I think I saw that people were able to get their hotmail/yahoo e-mail. Is there something I'm missing? My hosting is through
www.icdsoft.com. I have the pop3/smtp settings right, but should I have to provide the APN, IP, or DNS? I assume the APN is a way to actually dial up, but that wouldn't apply here.
Thanks for any info!

APN only applies to GPRS connections. Standard GSM Data (aka CSD) dial-up connections will require access to the said POP and SMTP servers of your email provider.
If you can use the dial-up number (and settings) to connect via a PC then open a command prompt window and PING the pop and smtp servers. If you PING successfully then there's a very good chance you can access email using this dial-up.
