Nail varnish remover is supposed to work. I think it is the Acetane in it.

@Tranced, i checked the link...its for fabric and Human skin...plus it says , "straight acetone will discolor a number of fabrics and can mar the finish of laminated counter tops (mainly the darker colored ones)" should i try it still?

Nail varnish remover works, but it can damage the plastic of the dashboard.
Can't you try first with a little bit on a cloth, in a corner, where nobody would see it, if damaged ?

Totally agree with marly.

Nail-polish remover should do the trick or before that you might want to try to rub with a water damp cloth.

You can actually buy superglue remover from local diy stores and places like Halfords. Have a tube of it myself. Although it does melt plastics, vinal etc if left on too long.
Doesnt cost much and you only need a small amount
