I have a genie sim card for my T68 which has free WAP. Is it possible to use the T68 email system to get the email over wap? Otherwise, any UK users know what is the best economical method to do this? I have an orange contract and a genie sim card.
Thanks!

Does anyone here know how to configure R520's email? I have done anything that was posted here but none seemed working. Please help. I need it badly. Thanks people.

@padders, the T68 email client is for POP3/SMTP only. if you want email access via WAP, just go to the WAP site, i.e., mobile.msn.com
@stonebolt, have you subscribed to either GSM data (CSD) or GPRS?

I'm a freeserve user, i used wap.freeserve.com
go to the main to
www.freeserve.com to find out the details.
Go to
www.Tsixtyeight.com they can help you configure the non-wap E-Mail, it helps if you look in outlooks express to see what your email details. However some ISPs do not support email over wap or phones.

I have set up the pop3 email client on t68 to check my blueyonder pop3 mail - with my FREE WAP WITH GENIE! So pop3 email can be FREE using the email cliet on t68.

That is amazing, exactly what I want. Any chance you can run through the settings you did to get that to work? My genie sim card arrives tomorrow.

Hi
I set up genie wap as normal via shortcode 915000. Then i set up my pop3 email account. And rather than seting up an ISP to dial up to (0845 bla bla bla) and having to pay for the call, i tried setting the pop3 email to dial up using my WAP account....and to my amazment it worked! I was very shocked as i didnt think it would work, i was trying for a few days to get the pop3 working - so to get it working for FREE was amazing! If u get any problems - mail me.

Thanks for replying ArnoldC. Yes I'm a subscriber to either CSD or GPRS. I'm a postpaid subscriber. However, I've tried using different technic on how to configure my yahoo mail but to no avail. I have no problem surfing via wap over gprs or wap over csd, it's just that i could not retrieve my mail on my phone. Thanks again buddy. By the way, I'm a Globe subscriber.

@StoneBolt
Have you configured your yahoo account for POP access? I' not a yahoo user, but I read from some posts here that you still have to configure your yahoo mail for this.
Btw, check out the many yahoo mail threads for more info. Especially the long one by @gomichaelgo.
