Hi guys I have read a few post lately on scratched screens. My screen was quite badly scratched after having my lovely T68 in my pocket along with loose money. So I bought some 'DISPLEX' and you wouldn't believe how easy this product is to use, and the results are truly amazing!!!WOW!!! My screen is completly scratch free now, the phone looks brand new again. It was quite difficult to get here in the UK but it was worth all the effort.

it's the stuff you use to polish silver, you can actually use that and it'll have the exact same effect and I believe it's much cheaper and easier to get

I read on a post a while back about using toothpaste to remove minor scratches. I was a little bit unsure that it would have any effect but I can honestly say that it worked. I applied toothpaste, using cotton buds, 4 or 5 times and it removed minor scratches and scuffs!

I live in ireland, and have no problem getting DISPLEX, even local shops and supermarkets sell it!!!!
It works by slightly disolving the screen. with the plastic it disovles, it fills in the scratches. it the buffs it to a shine with the microscopic grit that is in the paste.
i would be a bit unsure about using the silver polish. the silver polish would be more abrasive and could end up doing damage to the screen.
NOTE:
When using displex, make sure you mask off all the areas surrounding areas so that you don't remove the finish!
there is a website that you can buy it off, as soon a i remember it i'll post it in a forum!

Im a T39 user i had no problem about scratch on my screen. Maybe this is the advantage of T39 against T68. It made of glass, so i dnt have to worry about scratches.. Really tough to create scratch on this phone!

the company my store orders displex from says that it shouldn't be used more than 10-15 times on each display

i have been quite interested in the alternative methods of scratch removal so i have tried a couple of the suggestions on my old Nokia (what a shame!).
The metal polish really does not work, it's FAR to abrasive, actually damaged the screen quite badly.
The toothpaste is not quite a destructive but obviously still does not work either.
Please don't try these methods on your T68's as they damage the screen. Use the correct tool for the job, DISPLEX!
