Now im not 100% impressed by the arc. I need/want someone to impress me with its features and camera (night shots especialy - samples please of items in pitchblack and clubbing etc.) and video quality (samples not required). If not ill be waiting for a sonyericsson (maybe another brand) with xenon flash 1080hd recording (so its rumoured) thank you.

oh for heavens sake. just get the phone on contract, (online) test it, send back if you do not like it. i do this all the time to try out new phones.

i personally own one and i couldn't be happier with it.

ask bonovox, he had one and returned it, and he's not the only one. Build quility is cheap AFAIK. and camera and buttons position can't be worse.
I will wait for the Pro for the simple fact of qwerty keyboard. I have a mini pro now, and no touch screen can compare to buttons. If the mini pro had a bigger screen and a faster CPU with better graphic chip, it would be ultimate for me (and i'm not talking about the mini pro 2, that has a 3" screen, im talking 3.7" minimum).
Arc looks nice, but it's not for me.
And i dont think that we will see any xenon in future phones. LEDs are strong now and getting better each year (maybe we will see Luxeon, CREE LEDs in newer phones, or the new "plasma dontknow what" that was presented in a SE phone in japan that can illuminate a whole room.).

Yes,for me the Arc was very good in terms of performance & quality for it's camera & software running smoothly inside. But,for something of that price I was expecting more from As they said in their words PREMIUM plastic Mine literally bended if I clutched it & creaked like crazy. It felt way too thin & light for my liking. But I tried it & will hopefully prefer the Neo or the Pro when they arrive. Others may say different here but I know that the build is shit & feels like it won't have decent longevity.

maybe it depends on the pick of which one. mine has absolutely no creaks, not sure about bending because i don't purposely try to bend it! premium plastic, yes thats definteily what it is. you can pay alot more than this for other premium plastic devices from other manufacturers. yes metal would be nice like HTC devices, but will make phone heavier and thicker. IMO its the best looking android device out there which is really the sole reason I picked it. Most ofther android phones are FUGLY, yes I'm looking at you in particular Samung and HTC!

The Arc is a beautiful phone. Sadly, it's too big for my hands; when holding it the tip of my index finger is always on the lens.

Sigh... waiting for Neo
