Has anyone got or used this latest version of the phone. Is it better than the last Wildfire? I have never had an android phone, and have around £200 to spend.

It is much better in terms of specs and also the screen res boost. I have played with a live one its rather cute with a nice feel and is quite snappy in operation. GSM Arena and Phone Arena have both reviewed it. I have seen it sin free on Amazon for £216 but its £179 currently on T Mobile.

Its £199 on o2 (which is who I am with). Was just wondering if it was worth a punt, or wether there is possibly something better for the money.

For that price I cannot think of anything at the moment but I would say it's a decent handset. But they said camera is not that great

Not too bothered about the camera, as I have a digital camera for taking real photos. Was possibly looking at galaxy ace, but just checked the comparison on phone arena, and it looks like i should get the HTC.
Do o2 phones normally come unlocked, and will it be full of bloatware.

O2 contract phones come unlocked but from experience their pay & go do not. I have read the Galaxy Ace has a very good camera & decent specs but it does not have much ram. I would choose the HTC over the Samsung Ace.

Only thing about HTC is on internet forums I have read quite alot of complaints about dust under their displays. Not sure if they are isolated cases but alot of people have had dust under Desire,Desire Z & even the HTC Incredible S. Google it you'll see. But as I said not sure if it were early or isolate cases.

Of course its isolated - you dont hear about things like this on HTC forums at all. I haven't had any dust under my HTC screen its crystal clear - also with handsets like the Sensation that have a very slight curve in the screen so it doesn't touch a surface when on its face it can only be a good thing.

Try Googling it though

When I had my first Desire HD I had a massive finger print under the screen
