It would yes but when I have seen clearence from Carphone before it's refurbished. I might be wrong I don't know

Yes I have played with a live one in Carphone which was strapped to the wall. I set the alarm off
But it looked nice & has better specs if I were you go with that cos it is going to be better in terms of specs & cheaper than if not the same price as the Wildfire S. Also the camera although both have 5 megs the Desire Z is better in terms of image quality. The hinge I have read in reviews is well built.
