first of all i dont have the phone its my cousins... and i was suprised when he told me he doesnt have magic word or battery status... i thought all ericsson/sonyericsson phones have battery status and magic word..
he also got it from t mobile but unlocked it and using it on a different network... could it be that t mobile changed the software inside (which i doubt is the reason) he also upgraded to latest software 2 weeks ago (forgot to ask him what version though)
any help would be apprciated

The battery status is missing because of SE politic. There must be some differences in mid- and high-end phones.

Hehe.. You calling p800 a mid-range phone?
It's missing in the p800 too...
It was useless anyways... My t68i started at just under 300 hours and i usually recharged it every 3-4 days....
300 hours is like 12 days..

stand-by time means that u canīt use your phone at all to make it happened. if u call some1, or play Q etc. stand-by time is just running out.

@coramoor: Got P800 and still complaining?
BTW I heard that p800 shows batt. precentage instead. Is that right?
