Greetings all,

My wife is finally biting the bullet and is getting me a Bluetooth handsfree for the Valentine Day. The question is, which one do I want?

Judging by the posts in this forum, Parrot CK3000 generally behaves well and fulfills adequately on its 100% handsfree promice. Most, if not all, posts that cite any troubles have something to do with a DIY log flashing of the owners' T68's and subsequent glitches in Bluetooth support.

SE's own HCB-30, on the other hand, shows all kinds of issues with magic words, caller announcements and such like, even for users running the carriers' stock versions of the software. It requires a purchase of separate harness (advanced music mute), but has a nice shiny control panel. But then again, it's SE's own OEM product, so they should (theoretically) be able to pull things off better than anyone else. No?

I would immensely appreciate any input and advice from those who tried BOTH HCB-30 and CK3000!!

If you get the CK3000 be sure it has SW2.41 if anything older it will not work 100% with you're t68i SWr3b+ I know I tried it and finally went to the HBH-30 I got tired of sending the unit back to Parrot for a SW upgrade. Also when using the CK3000 going through the stereo speakers the volume was low I finally went with a dedicated external speaker.
