A bin that photographs rubbish is shaming Newcastle students into recycling.
Images of their discarded packaging are being posted automatically on
social networking site Facebook.
Researchers at Newcastle University set up the project to see how naming people who fail to separate their rubbish for recycling would affect their behaviour.
