... anyone out there can confirm that they have a reliable and working 32GB micro SD card in their Arc?

I've got a Sandisk class 4 32GB micro SD card; tested using H2testw via a Sandisk microSD USB adaptor:

Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 4.81 MByte/s
Reading speed: 18.5 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4

H2testw wrote & read 30424 MBytes of data, which is around 29.7GB.

I've successfully tested in a number of PCs, also in the following: Nokia N97, Nokia 5800, Archos 101 tablet, Canon Powershot SX210 camera via SD card adaptor...

and yet it doesn't work in my Arc; returning a "blank sd card or has an unsupported file system". Formatting the card in the Arc makes no difference...

Maybe you could try and see if your phone is on the latest firmware. Update and then try again.

Got the card working in the end. It appears Android wasn't happy about me copying the previous SD cards data onto the 32GB card beforehand. This is what I did:

1) Wiped all the files off the 32GB card using Windows
2) Put 32GB card into phone, powered up, got "Preparing SD Card" notification. Checked settings > storage > total space to ensure it said 29GB+
3) Turned phone off, removed card, copied existing SD card data over to 32GB card.
4) Put 32GB card into phone, powered up, got "Preparing SD Card" notification. Checked contents

Thanks for your help.
