Extremely shocking and very sad.

R.I.P to the poor victims of this terrible massacre.

Has to be said though that if a Muslim commits a terrorist act the whole world blames Islam and muslims but if a Christian fundamentalist does this then no one blames Christianity and puts it down as an act of a single crazy psychopath....do you see the double standards here?

What could have driven him to do this?

So sorry for these deaths. Also the attack to the government buildings was awful.

May them RIP.

RIP to all them young people who's lives were cut short & the families who have lost loved ones. And all because a man has issues with the Government,so why kill innocent people?? Pure evil. As for the death penalty, that is probably what he wants thinking he is some kind of martyr. From what I heard the evil bastard asked for a lawyer @julias,lets not get into that argument now. The fact is that whatever happens it's still a crime. What you speak of is down to the media & press not what people automatically think. No one blames Islam,it's a minorities distorted view of it not the good decent majority of Muslims

I'm waiting to hear his reason why he did this, which apparantly he will explain when he appears in court.

Its always very sad when these things happen, but in what I have always considered a peaceful and quiet nation like Norway it is just so unexpected
