Amy Winehouse: 1983-2011 (telegraph article)
Wish I could say I'm surprised, but I'm not. But she certainly gave her all in the few years she was known.
I also wish I could understand what drives peoples to these extremes... Kurt Cobain, River Pheonix etc etc...

She was messed up individual clearly very talented but had obvious mental issues.

So sad, being so talented and then destroying your own life this way, hope she finds peace now.
Not surprised either though, saw a recent picture of her a few weeks ago, she looked terrible.
