It would be intersting, I don't know about the construction of phones, but this sounds like it would be quite hard to do, to also have the back securely attach the front of the phone also if it was dropped, would this not make the screen more vulnerable to breaking as its so close to the impact edge.
Would be interesting, but photoshops mock ups for years have been doing that, I would think a manufacturer would catch on and do this already if the technology was out there.
Obviously fake though, look at the first frame of the video!

The screen on the HTC HD2 is almost edge to edge and slim too so completely possible here as well.

Edge to edge might be in the works as I recall that that might be one one the designs which Samsung was looking at and Apple felt that Samsung was about to or copying them.
