If you've got a warranty, you'll pay nothing.
I upgraded my T68i last Monday. I've got R6A012 now.

just got a 5-month old t39. twas bought in globe and should still be under warranty. however, the original owner sprung a surprise on me when she claimed she allegedly could not find the receipt after assuring me beforehand that she has it. She instead gave me a delivery receipt from globe which states the phone's owner (her name), the handset brand and model, IMEI# amd the delivery date with the owner's signature.
i produced, on the spot, a handwritten document in my small notebook stating the change of ownership and made her sign it.
my question is, can i bring the phone to a service center for a firmware update?
