must you have gprs in order to send mms'???

on my status it says 'gprs not allowed'

n wen i try to send an mms it ses gprs failed.

help me out buddies!

im on orange payg btw..

Yea, you must have gprs to send mms. I guess it has something to do with coding and access.

lol yea got everytin ok! got the camera yesterday, n my phone back this afternoon!!
was so excited bout sendin mms' n now all this gprs stuff comes up..

ive just phoned up orange n got them to add gprs to my account.
now wen i try to send an mms it says 'GPRS PARAMETERS NOT SUPPORTED'

any help?

Easiest to have orange send them to you in a sms. You probably need three settings, for wap, mms and mail.

Oh, can you set it up on the se website in the support section, I'm on o2, i wouldn't mind finding out the going GPRS if i am to get a p800.

doesnt cost to have gprs, just ask them to enable it an they will.

Yeh, but dont you pay per mb downloaded\uploaded or something?? In fact i'm not really sure of the situation on pay as you go on O2, does anyone have any info??

took me a while to get things set up myself. Got the settings from sonyericsson site. Put in model and phone number and type of service and they send the settings to the phone. Had to get the gprs bundle set on the phone with orange and then discovered I had to call them again to activate the mms service seperately as I kept getting the error message. Although they kept trying to get me to register the phone and sim together convincing me that as it was a sim free P800 registering the sim would help. Works just fine though without this after everything was activated.
