Hi,
I have Sony Ericsson Arc and I hate the contact sync from outlook 2010 to google to phone --> too many mistakes
maybe because I have a lot of info for each contact
It was OK with my old P1...
What is the best program to sync Android contacts with outlook 2010 direct over USB in the PC?
Do you think that
CompanionLink is the best?

Don't use Otlook myself, but I would recommend you try MyPhoneExplorer (you need to install an app on your PC + an app on your phone from Market), which can sync both contacts and calendar with Outlook. It can sync both over USB, WiFi and Bluetooth (requires Android 2.3). It works with most Androids and is free.
For SE phones specifically, PC Companion that SE provides has a feature called Sync Zone to sync with PC. Whether this includes outlook sync or not I'm not sure since I haven't useed it. But it is free as well.

Thank you for your reply,
But I don't think that you can sync outlook contacts with Xperia arx using MyPhoneExplorer
I've tried it and did not find this option
About SE PC Companion, as you can see below
There is something between the phone and the outlook --> that is gmail...
So it sync gmail with outlook then with the phone
Do you have any other suggestions?

Have you tried File|Settings|Sync and from there select what to sync Contacts with (you should see Outlook in the drop down menu next to Contacts) ?

Thanks, Yes it worked
But it did not preserve the one thing that I prefer in Android contact format -->
xxx (xxx) xxxxxxx

Not sure what you mean, but you can ask questions and give suggestions to the developer directly at MyPhoneExplorer's own forum. You can probably get good help there (the developer responses relatively fast).
