In a recent interview with CEO Stephen Elop, he communicates that Nokia is expected to sell Windows Phone 7 devices beginning in the last quarter this year
Esato News
The good news is that the next Windows Phone powered Nokia will be available in Q4 this year. The bad news is that this is not a worldwide roll out. Nokia will start shipping Windows Phone 7 smartphones country by country. It was in a recent interview on a Chinese television that Mr. Elop said that he is on a visit to China to have discussions with operators about the release of the new Windows Phone 7 devices. The launch of new smartphones will be done country by country instead of having a continet by continent launch which is a common way to release new mobile phones.Mr. Elop also explained why the decision felt on choosing Windows Phone 7 as the only OS, and not having another OS such as Android powering their device portfolio. Nokia choose Windows Phone over Android because they decided that they would do their best work with the Microsoft platform. The Nokia CEO also mentions Navigation, Mapping and entertainment as the main features that Nokia will add to the Windows Phone experienece.

Great news can't wait to see what Nokia has to offer for its first ever Windows 7 device? One things for sure that WP7 will get a much a bigger user base now than before as Nokia is the grandmaster of all phone brands!

Me too but i can imagine them being rather dull. Theres just something about Windows Phone which seems dull.
Im hoping Nokia's input will give WP7 a bit more character.

Nokia's marketing manager said on twitter that their first windows phone 7 will be something special I'm not sure what that means exactly but it sounds good?

I've seen that before when Nokia first announced their WP7 phones and have to say I quite like the look of that however we don't known for sure if that's the actual phone or just a concept design?

Definitely a concept that I prefer as well. Considering Mango's change to the Metro UI and performance requirements, along with unifying the UI with Windows 8 I really think Windows Phone 7 has a chance in the consumer and corporate space to replace BlackBerry VERY quickly.
This concept looks a LOT like the Nokia C7 and the latest update. I hope that Nokia partners with Bose, Bang & Olfsen, or Maurantz or some audio specialist for a REALLY incredibly tuned DSP for hardware implementation. HTC will have a good run soon with Monster Beats.
