Could the phone be distributed by another network operator such as vodafone or orange, so the data settings are restricted by firmware? If not, how about go for firm upgrading? This message was posted from a R520

i had this problem, its a bug that comes from doing a master reset, my t68i properly buggerd up so i thought master reseting it would make it work oh no, it put the bug in and each time i send it off the site it would be ok but when i turned it off the next time i turned it on the account was deleted and it displayed the same message as yours. so all i did was take it to the carphone warehouse and they did an on the spot fw upgrade, you can do it yourself but you need to buy all the equipment and have the guts because its extemly risky!
