AT&T today announced no less than 5 new Android smartphones. During the CTIA taking place in California AT&T announced Motorola ATRIX 2, Samsung Captivate Glide, Samsung DoubleTime, Pantech Pocket and the AT&T Avail by ZTE

AT&Ts goal this year was to release 12 Android smartphones during 2011. This goal has been reach by far with the 5 new handsets announced today. The AT&T portfolio is now counting 19 Android smartphones which has been announced this year.Motorola ATRIX 2 is a 4.3 inch 1GH dual core smartphone running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It is a 4G model at an affordable price according to AT&T. It has HD video capture and playback capabilities with true HD 1080p resolution recording and playback via HD monitors using a HDMI cable using Mirror mode.
