i think that if it's registered as stolen then it's blocked from all networks.

Your phone has been blocked by the phone company. It can be unblocked but the person who unblocks it can be jailed for 5 years.
If you want sell the phone to me as I need a few parts from it. e-mail me on sexy_suzy2003@hotmail.com

If you decide to keep it then good luck!

A few years back, when phones were stolen and the owner phoned their SP to register it as stolen, that phone was only registered stolen with that SP. Therefore, it was only blocked on the original network, and could be used on different networks.

Now, however, the 4 main SPs have come together to form one 'big list' of 'registered stolen' phones, so if a phone is registered stolen on one SP, it is added to the 'big list' and blocked from use on all networks.

You can! If in your place theres available repaire shops for mobile! You said that the phone is blocked, and you cannot use it! Repair shops are trying to change thf IMEI number of the phone to a number that is not registered like15 zeros or any number substituting the former IMEI #! bEcoz networks are blocking the phone thru its serial # or IMEI #! but as suzy says, that's illegal in the UK. doesn't mean nobody's doing it, necessarily, but it is against the law- for good reason.
