Samsung today announced two entry-level smartphones. The
Samsung Star 3 and
Star 3 DUOS are two identical phone models, except that the DUOS model has room for two SIM cards. Samsung's Star range of phones has historically sold very much, but we doubt these two phone models beat the sales numbers of the first Star model. It was sold in 30 million units.Samsung Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS replaces the Star II which was announced just one year ago. The Star 3 models does not add much better hardware and the display size is still 3 inch, camera is still a 3.2 megapixel and the battery is the same 1000 mAh. The only hardware changes we can find by comparing the specs is a change in a smaller size and a change in display resolution. The older Star II had a 3 inch, 240 x 400 pixel resolution screen while the new Star 3's has 3 inch displays with a 240 x 320 resolution.Star 3 images
