yawn another similar product to the iphone 4s, seriously how long can you keep bringing out tiny updates to your products, people will finally catch on and go elsewhere. Windows 8 does look exciting though!

To be honest, I was expecting a lot more from Apple.

All that matters is, IT WILL SELL DARN GOOD!
Obviously Apple got something every one else tries to copy.

Putting brand bias behind us and just seeing this as a product - looks like a good upgrade. Much better than the iPhone 4 to iPhone 4S upgrade which was apple just completely trolling their customers, (whom of course lapped it up)
@tranced
What more did you expect? We know that apple make money by slight upgrades and hugely overpricing their products.
This does look good cos they've upgraded the one thing that matters - display
High res, new camera with AF and better cpu, if I was gonna buy an ipad I'd buy one now.

@Ravager
What will everyone else copy?
By the way, didn't Apple copy the higher screen resolution ever other tablet manufacture can offer? Remember that the Ipad 2 has a 1024x768 pixel resolution screen. I can count at least 50 tablets with higher resolution than that. Does that mean Apple copied these? What about the dual-core processor Apple now finally are selling. At least 40 tablets have a dual- or quad-core processor inside.
Maybe I misunderstood what you meant. If so, please elaborate

Yes, i'm afraid you did misunderstand.
What i am saying is, they are without doubt doing something right!
As I said, all that matters is the revenue, not the tech inside...

Ive never seen the point of these slab devices except there touchscreen
its good having the same tech on your phone but I think a Pc or a laptop
is alot better!
thus i think these will sell to people who want a fashion statement but these
aren't for me

I agree on that. I think they are better, or equally good on marketing than product development. Everything from setting the price right, releasing the products in only one country (Iphone) before slowly shipping to other markets. This is all about letting the dealers and network operators feeling exclusive and lucky enough to be allowed to sell Apple products. It's all part of a very, very clever plan. And they have succeeded so far
