Hi everyone, i've just purchased C905 with good hopes, but the i've tested the camera immediately after i bough it. Results was disappointing for me, colour reproduction was good but amount of fine detail was very disapointing especially at the left side of the photos. I dont know whether i have problem with the lens or not although i clearly cleaned the lens itself. Moreover the problem could be related with the software of my phone? Im adding some of the pics taken by my C905. Can u please hepl me what should i do with this issue? By the way my version is 1205-9079-R1DA032-090204.

They're not that bad. But you could try to update the phone. Use the Sony Ericsson Update Service to get it done.

Actually i should say this, before i buy the phone, i've made some research. Reviews was reflecting great quality of images especially i got this opinion through GSMARENA c905 review and the posts of users in Esato forum. However, my phone disappointed me when i compare pics to Gsmarena review and other users in terms of image quality which was the most important thing for me. I still dont know what should i do, i tried many times to download pc companion from the sonymobile.com to check there is any update for my phone or not , but the link is consistently refusing my demand at the moment. I wonder if my version is the latest one or not? And, can u suggest me some solutions to overcome the propblem that i had regardin photo quality. By the way my macro shots ok, but landscape shots are suffering from detailing especially at the left side of the picture, they are so blurry. Thanks...

I know this might be a little or slightly offending, but are you sure its not you shaking the camera causing it to blur ?

I'd try setting the phone up on a stable surface to take a picture and using the self timer so that there is no shake at all. Its a good way to tell if its the phone or the person taking the picture causing the blur.

Either way your first shots look quite poor so something isnt right.

your problem is too easy.. reflash it.. find the thread here for C905 camera driver or search latest firmware for c905 then reflash it.. i guess R1FA035 is the best firmware for C905.. after reflashingn.. modify the cam of your C905.. and then your cam will be more clearer and have a good great shot !
