so.........my girlfriend bought a iphone 3g..(it was jailbroken), she updated via ITunes and the phone locked itself (of course)....she didnt know what she did.
ive tried restoring in many ways now.
ive tried:

redsnow
tiny umbrella
ifaith
(im not sure i do the right steps)
the phone does not starts as it should (the hardware its fine...it just software issues)
i think i have to know which firmware it had before ???? am i right ?? (which i dont know...i neither know which baseband the phone had)
this how it looks:

If its been updated it will have the most upto date
Firmware and until Dev team launch another jailbreak
Then u won't be able to use the phone for calls.
Only option is to get ur network provider to unlock the
Phone or sell it and get a factory unlocked one from apple .
