hope this update improves the performance of the music player!!! everything is working great for me on my mini pro ICS... but the music player can not seem to handle the music I have...I do admit I have over a thousand songs....but when i try to scroll the to a particular album and open songs the app just crashes.....so using winamp now which seems to browse the songs just fine. really hope they fix the music player as i really like the inbuilt one

Xperia Arc and Arc/S models here in Canada get the update as well. Xperia S is end of September (at least in Canada)

Hi kewsvet, what micro SD card are you using? Is it a class 10? I had issues before with the Class 2 that my xperia ray came with, switched to a Class 6 from Sandisk, seemed to solve them.

Also try Poweramp Music Player, instead of the stock player. The interface is quite similar to the stock one, but added gesture control and more audio settings.

im still not convinced that ics update will be good, im happy with the silky smooth of gingerbread!

As for music player I highly recommend cloud skipper and it's free too! does all what poweramp does.

I have 32gb class 10 in my neo v runs like a dream!
