Funny, some of us miss Ericsson because those phones had souls, and the prototypes and concepts were to advanced for those days.
Now you guys are starting to miss

i can understand that, and i 2 miss it, because those new Sony phones look even more boring, and i still haven't seen any real innovation.

if they are smart they'll design a high end phone the way the T610 was designed

The thing is, design wise, Ericsson phones looked like nobody elses phones. They looked cool but geeky, old fashioned but almost James Bond styled. Different i guess.

But, in todays market where sleek lines and thin waistlines are the norm, Ericsson designs wouldnt stand a chance.

By far the best phone I've used. 10/10 on everything. In those days this phone was like a rocker!

Edit: I still wouldn't mind using this phone right now. T68i is still my fav.

@ etaab: so the T28s, T39m, R320, R520 were not slim in your eyes?
And the prototypes like the Hedvig device?

Ericsson would've been market leader if they kept pushing their idea's. Apple wouldn't have launched the iphone, and their would be no such thing as the apple zombie religion
