Yes I have searched for a similar topic but I couldn't find one(Perhaps I'm a crappy searcher...)

For me it appears faster (especially for transferring 10-12MB of files) I hardly use the cradle anymore.

In order of speed transfer:
1: Memory card reader, USB2 ver.
2: Infra Red
3: Cable and/or cradle
4: Bluetooth.
The above is based on transfer rates of each technollogy.
Hope this helps

@Yusuf ,
Your order of speed is mighty strange! infrared is way slower than BT. According to specifications and personal experience.

My IR's max transfer rate is 4Mbps but like you said experience tells otherwise

Those numbers are meaningless on the p800.
Bluetooth is 1mb/s
fast infrared is 9mb/s
usb1.1 is 12mb/s
usb2.0 is 412bm/s
But these are not the speeds of the p800.. It is far slower.
For all we(I) know the bluetooth and the infrared may be of the same speed....
The only speed I know is the cable speed. Which as stated by the p880 itself under control panel -> connections -> cable is 460kb/s
Note that the cable speed is by default 115kb/s and you have to set it to 460 manaully

@ CEMEA
Infrared is technically and spec wise faster in terms of transmission speed than bluetooth. That is to say if both transmitting and receiving devices support the same BAUD rate. i.e. Normal infrared is about 4 MB/s and normal Bluetooth is I think about 730KB/s but if your cellphone only transmits about 500KB/s and your pc does 4MB/s than it will only work at 500KB/s
Hope this clarifies it.
