hi all,

I've got GPRS Wap running, Email running as well. However, since i have upgraded my firmware from R2E to R6A012, MMS seems not working, I can't send, nor can't download the message body up a MMS notification and header has been received.

I am wondering about this, I know I need a Wap Profile for MMS, and a Wap Profile has already been created for the GPRS Wap already. Do I use the same Profile? Or do I have to create another one for MMS use? If I do need to have another Wap Profile for MMS? Do I need another Data Acccount for it as well?

It's getting really confusing? Can someone help plz?

I asked my service provider to send me settings for MMS and GPRS Wap, and I have choose "Yes, install". Then I have one Data Account, one Wap Profile. Are these sufficient to use GPRS Wap and MMS? Or they have only sent me GPRS Wap but not MMS setting?

Thanks in Advance

Itīs sufficient for your GPRS wap, but may not for MMS sending/receiving. Many operators take a different data account for Gprs data than Gprs wap. Check on the setting of your data account and MMS centre please. This message was posted from a R520

it's operator dependent. in my case, yes a new data account is required. for generic mms, i.e., phoneparadise, nowmms existing data accounts suffice.
