Hey dudez,

as I was the only one here missing the SMS delivery reports from the P800, and still not buying it because of that and being satysfied with my T68i I'll buy (2nd one, the 1st one was sold ), I wrote an email to SE and asked them how is it possible, when is it going to be fixed (wether it's going to), and so....

Read here their answer, enjoy!

Dear Sir,

Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson Customer Care Center.

We are always glad to hear that you as a customer is satisfied with

This

arroyootje: Take it easy buddy!
SE make sgreat phones, and the P800 is the HIGHEST mobile you could buy! It has some small disadvantages including the deliveries, but hey, can't you see they promised to do something with it? I believe they will, because they need dudez to buy their phones... and if you don't like it, they are loosing you... at least I believe...

Hey guys, cheer up! They promised it, although they didn't write it. It really is a question of SW, and I'll be bombing them with similar emails until they reply something that makes me happy and satisfied, or until they replay something like "Fuck off jerk!"

you do not actually need p800 support for delivery reports,
you can do it yourselves, too:

when you type s new sms, just start your message *0# and a space character.

you'll get delivery reports !

@ohm

I don't know if you're info is valid to all operators. In my case (Vodafone Portugal) if I want to get a delivery report i start the message with *NOT#.
