" Xperia V which is water resistant and IP55/IP57 compliant, was in perfect working order despite being exposed to the rough sea for four days."

People will believe anything. I don't doubt the phone could survive, but I doubt the video is real or that the people who found it also knew the owners number to let him know they'd found it.

Sony build quality. Let's see an s4 active do that for 2 hours.

I've heard the guys went to the same college.

The last parts was describing another guy using the same brand and went fishing . But when he soaked it in water for about 6 to 8 seconds water seeped in and damaged his phone. The phone looked like Arco s .

It wouldn't be too hard to just charge the phone, turn it on and see the contacts would it?

Sony didn't mind. It should have had a bigger screen. Virtually every other aspect was on par or better than the T, which didn't sell well at all... This would have sold much better. And it just looked amazing.

Not an acro S. The acro S has a hard-sealed battery (not a rubber rim), does not have a user-removable back cover, the port covers are silvery/chrome and the camera is not that close the top edge.

I remember that the XV sold particularly well in India and Asia. I agree thought that the XV was the more exciting out of it and the XT. I would have got the V if they'd offered it on my network.

Still, they've come down in price now so there is always the option.
