Hey Guys!

I had the same problem, but I found a solution!

Just lower the IR-port speed from 119.000 (or whatever it is to 19.200 bps, and the pictures will be sent fine! The phone can't handle the higher speeds when it comes to pictures > 3k.

Hope this helps!

Set speed to 9600 kbps.

Then you can send pictures up to 8 kb.

Works for me in Windows ME on a laptop.

I set the speed to 9,600 kb/sek on my Compaq laptop with Windows 2000 and it works like a charm!

Still... I think this is a bug... Sending a picture to your mobile phone shouldn't include crawling into the Control Panel to change the speed of the Infrared! The Nerd factor here is too high!

Hehe Mercur.

It can be a bit difficult in the beginning.
My laptop is set to 9600 kbps as standard, so I dont have to change the settings each time.
I use a new Fujitsu Siemens Amilo.

I'm working on having my laptop upgraded to a new Dell something... But I don't know when that will happen.

The problem I see in this is the fact that telling people how to do this is a little complex. Most people hear "control Panel" and their brain shorts out!

Yep Merkur,..the word "control panel" should be used with care,.hehe.

And of course it would be a lot easier, if everyone had the same kind of IR-connection and laptop, AND used the same Windows
But thats not the case, unfortunately.
They all look different, and with different kind of settings.
