Hi,
For some time now, I'm having some problems with my otherwise great phone.
At times, it'll stop connecting through GPRS. It goes on to the screen which says "Connecting", and scroll for-ever. This is regadless the GPRS data accounts. The only solution is to remove and reinsert the battery. Maybe I could live with that.
The worst is that it sometimes doesnt accept any calls. While switched on, and with a strong signal, the party calling me, gets a message from my network, that I have my phone switched off. If at that time I try to call someone, the phone will display the "Connecting" screen, and scroll again for-ever. It then needs to take the battery off, since it wont respond to any key-presses.
The phone has been upgraded to the latest firmware release (R6), but I had the same problems with older versions. The stupid ppl at my local SE service tell me that an upgrade will fix it, and bla bla bla....
Anyway, is there anyone else having these problems, is there a solution?
thanks guys,
MrZammler

Hey!
Had the same problem. Was told to set connection mode to "GSM only" (Connect->Datacom->Pref. service). It works! (and it has no effect on you gprs connection.
