My software is R1D
And sometimes when I get a new sms the name isn't displayed.
Only the number. When I click on the number and select dial the name is displayed when the phone is dialling(pictures and such is also shown).
What could be the cause of this? Is it just my phone or has others discovered this also? Perhaps it will be fixed in a software update...
I can wait as it isn't a big problem since the name shows when i dial the number.

I have the same problem.
There are no more names on my sim.
I've put them all to the phone & know he doesn't give the name but the nr. Don't know how to change this.
Put all the names back on my simcard? But there are to many names. :-s

I doubt it has anything to do with your sim card...
But it doesnt happen all the time...
I've received 58 smses since I got the phone and it has happened to 4 of them.
I have also copied all the names and numbers from my sim card to my phone.

Can it be that you have the same phonenumber in two places in your contacts stored with different names (Dad work, Dad wrk)!?
That should make the phone act like yours is.

Erase the names from your sim.
The next sms you will get is without a name, even they are in your phone.

It only happens sometimes and seems to be totally random.
I got 5 messages in a row from a person and the 6. appeared with no name.
I have not tried to delete the numbers on my sim....
I'll try that.
