i have a T68i and the network is Voda. the WAP runs on GPRS very well. but i want to connect my laptop to internet by gprs. my OS is WinXP and it could recognize a standard modem via IR. the i setup a dial connection and dial the number *99#, it connected as 112K bps but can not open any website. i try to ping some address and ip but it does not work.
the ip is 10.24.35.249
DNS is 172.29.1.11
but i can not ping sucessfully to DNS
What's the matter? Could anyone help me?

You need to get information from voda. Probably a different APN is necessary for voda GPRS data access, depends on your operater. Another data account can be created with it.

Yes, the APN is the key (I think it is called 'data accounts' in CONNECT | DATA COMM. | DATA ACCOUNTS. My provider has two 'profiles' on my phone. One is CID 1 and the other is CID 4. CID 1 (probably a restricted connection for WAP??) connects me to a service that allows me to ftp, email and surf only my provider's web sites. The account with CID 4 connects me to a service that allows me to have a full connection to the internet. The 'phone number' looks like *99***4# where the 4 (the CID) is the fourth data session configured in the phone.
