Hello. Could you please tell me if the P800 is really full compatible with the imode as i would like to make use of this feature to use my present subscription on the french Bouygues Telecom Network. I already have the parameters but don't really know how to make use of them.
Here are the parameters i possess:
APN: imode.fr IP:62.201.129.241 Http port:5080
Portal: Bouygtel.imode.fr
mail: mail.imode.fr
user/password :not filled out

doesn't want it...
Try phoning your operator and ask them if it's possible....

As far as i know u can visit imode websites... !
P800 supports almost all types of websites, html and wap... and imode is something different but it should work...
Ask someguys from belgium if they can test it for u...

Following sweet heart's suggestion could someone in Belgium having access to such a phone try to use a P800 to connect in imode to his network's imode portal and surf? I got in touch with Bouygues Telecom and they don't know if this is possible with the phone. I would be more than grateful if someone could sort this out as the imode compatibity is amongst one of the reasons that made me choose the phone and it is in it's 15 days try out period during which i can get a refund.

just stumbled on this post now, though its about 3years old. u cant use a phone not specified as imode 2 browse some specific imode sites. seems the operators block it somehow. i have an imode phone and can help do some tests if possible. (from belgium)
