> Samsung P3100 not charging

I own a Samsung P3100 and one time I could not find the charger adaptor and I used a different one to charge it. Instead of charging it displayed a red cross and I unplugged the charger. After I have got my charger the next day it couldnt charge and the technician is failing to fix it. Is this a problem that can be fixed or I should look for another phone and burry this one?
