They're selling spare P800 covers here.... was thinking of buying an extra set, and turning the baby-blue into a nice, metallic black finish. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't defile my baby in such a matter...
It has to be original in my mind...
Even though some color variations may have looked better this is the way it was made and it's the way it will stay.

I'd just like to make sure I can change my baby's diapers.

It's a temporary stopgap until SE actually released more covers.

I remember them saying they wouldn't release any covers for the T68i either, then they released the Mineral grey.

Well try it and post some screenshots here when you're done ok! A darker blue would have been nice instead of this light blue...

If it looks nice enough you might just make a business out of it! I sure would pay for a different, unique looking P800!

Dark blue?

Hmmm. Excellent suggestion! I have royal blue metallic spraypaint lying around. Will definately post pics!

Where is 'here', pray tell? Imagine it's far, far away from England, eh?!

Just might be interested in getting hold of one myself (once i've got the handset, anyhow!) - would love the mineral grey, which may actually have been manufactured by SE - though no one seems to know for sure - but failing that, spray painting my own would certainly be a viable option.

The stylus & flip may look silly as they are`nt easy to change the colour.
But i am very interested in a colour change as i detest light blue as a colour, grey would be nice, but what i realy want is the black rubbery finish used on t68m batteries. which is either "epoxy 2 pack" "chlorinated rubber" or "isocyanate" based paint,(it may be available in all of these products) these are all quite toxic industrial coatings but are far more durable than "car paint" which will easily wear off.I`m going to try to scource this paint.
A proper "plastic primer" is also needed for adhesion to phone parts.
Anyone know where to get the "sony ericsson" transfer for the front ?

I would love that too!!

@Rashkae: Spray paint usually flakes off with time and wear, so you may end up with some new age camouflage design after a while!!

Hey pachy, I believe that is accually a Teflon coating on the T68m battery/antenna cover.

Has anyone actually tried taking the covers off their P800?
