It's not a major upgrade to the Z3, just a faster processor and a few other minor improvements. From a business sense it's a way of keeping up Z3 sales. The Z3 is still a great phone.
Personally, I'll be holding out for the next compact.

I just wonder now what to do.
Maybe stay with Z2 for longer?
I love to change the phone every year.
Z3+ has a great advantage - 5mpx front Cam.
Even better processor...
I wait for reviews.

I'm in the same situation and I'm pretty much in for the Z3+.
The ONLY thing keeping me from doing it immediately is the SD810, I will wait for reviews to land and talk about the possible overheating/throttling of the processor.

If my Z3 hadn't been replaced under warranty with a Z3Dual I would have got this for sure. This somewhat like the Arc/Arc S but a little more. It would be interesting to see if SA mode has been improved

The device will cost 3000zl (723 euros) when it launches here in Poland in the 2nd half of June. This is around 600-800zl (144-192 euros) cheaper than the current Z3, depending on retailer. Sure it brings in a new Sd810, slightly thinner, new 5MP front cam, quick charge and 32gigs of memory, but then is this worth the extra money? For me no, this is not worth it. I am not sure if the SD810 in the device is from some new batch or still the current line with the overheating and throttling. I don't take selfies, so front cam does not matter, the 32GB is great but it should have been standard long ago. Will mention the exposed usb, this should have been done on the z3, and z2 but no.
The main issue still remains, same sensor and camera, don't think much has gone into changing the algorithm, so doubt the image quality has improved leaps and bounds.
Ok effort but nothing spectacular but we already knew that.
Hopefully IFA does not disappoint and Sony brings a true flagship but then Sony has not been able to bring anything wow to the market since who knows when, so perhaps IFA will flop as well.

I would like to know if this version is the same present in Xiaomi Mi Note Pro...
If yes, it will be fine.

And I actually feel tempted.
I mean I have a Z2 for over a year now.
Almost perfect phone. But I want upgrade as a little geek...
What is tempting about Z3+ is the better chip and much improved 5mpx in front.
I am taking selfies or rather Snapchat them
As let's say public person I am I need to
It's also beautiful...
I wait for reviews first though.
And also, I really want to know if Sony is planning another "full" flagship this year..
