And now...the big question!

Does anyone know how to setup the T300 GPRS modem using the USB data cable (no infrared) on winXP?

I mean:
- does anyone have the drivers for the USB cable?
- is it really true that the T300 modem will only work through the ir port?

any help will be appreciated.

If you download the SE Communication suite it lets you use GPRS over a cable. Download it from the support area of the SE website
(for T300)

OK...no replies from someone who have really tried it?

- within the SE software packages you will only find IR drivers for the T300(I,ve downloaded all the packages from their site).
- I haven't found anything else suitable, either in other sites (I've got a MobileAction-like cable, but only "handset manager" works, no cable modem drivers...)

any more hints?

My friend has a t68m(i) and he bought a comunication cable with software(it include) and he register his phone as a new modem (t68 gprs modem) and he phone at special ntmber which u can look up in your mobile operator and then you will be connected to internet i think this way can be used on your phone too This message was posted from a T68i

AFAIK, the t68 has a modem built-in the t300 doesn't, thats why your speed on a t300 is controled by the carrier...

I was told it does actually HAVE an internal modem, but it is only accessible via IR.
