The phone officially became available as of 5pm last night (21/2/03) but with a VERY LIMITED number of units. Word is to expect the O2 and Voda variants sometime within the next 2 weeks hopefully. price is £199.99 on an Orange tariff over £30.00 and £299.99 on any other tariff as well as upgrades. No word for T Mobile yet.

With all respect, I never understand this preoccupation with guessing when something will be available somewhere.

Haven't we learned that it is available when either the shops have it and/or someone posts here that the shops have it?

Having said that, it would be great if manufacturers and distributers could get their act together so that we know exactly when something is going to be available.

My point was a general point, not personally at you, although it was in response to your post.

My point really is that no body here EVER knows until it actually happens.

From the moment a product is announced we are bombarded by "when is it available" and "why have they missed a deadline" and... well... need I go on? We are already seeing it with the SE 3G phone!
