Yep, been using it quite happily since early Jan. I don't think it's failed any tests since CPW claim they'll start selling it when they get stock early next week (according to sales line on Friday).

I've been using it for a month on Vodafone with GPRS/MMS/SMS/WAP etc etc and I agree... no problems at all

Hi Ebs,

you don't need GPRS for the P800 to work. It will work through ISP dial-up although it will be 9600bps.

I'd recommend switching to GPRS based on experience.

I've been working in Germany for a couple of years so I took out a prepaid service there. It used to eat my prepaid balance dialing up to check mail but when GPRS came available I found my prepaid balance lasted much longer, maybe twice as long, and I was probably checking mail much more frequently.

Its also a much better connection. I have found when going through a tunnel the dial up gets disconnected whereas GPRS seems to hang on and wait a while before dropping the signal so more often than not I have got out the other side and it continued where it left off.
