My NEW T66 shows a battery time of 77 (!!??) hours after charging for 15 hours ( first time ) Somthing must be wrong here. The manual states 150 hours! Anyone experienced the same?

It's the first time you charge it. Give it a few days of full recharges and decharges and check again. It's always like that with batteries when they're new.

But from 150 to 77 hours?? I don't think the battery will double the effect just cause i'll recharged it a few times...

Ericsson batteries will only achieve itīs full capacity after 3/5 charges! I was told this by a Ericsson service point guy and on my T68 it checked out true!

maybe it depend also on the provider rate 1800 are more battery demanding than the 900 rate. So check also this parameter

I have a T66 since 6 weeks and charged at least 50 times the battery. Not only when switched on it says 77 hours but every hour in stand by it lowers by 5 hours. Every 10 minutes of call it lowers by 10 hours !! If i call a bit i am out of battery by noon time and if i don't call i am out around 4 to 5 PM, charging it or refreshing it didn't help. The battery is simply PATHETIC !! Made in China !! Cheap for Ericsson. Quality is insulting the customer. Else perfect phone but why not the T39 software ! Sofware doesn't take any room ? Why not e-mail, why not images via WAP, why not full phone book ? I miss my infra red and Blutooth but luckily i kept my T39 as a spare !! Thanks god.

It looks like something is not as it should be with your hand sets. My T66 is always almost perfect. Every time it is fully charged it shows 135h standby and then it decrease one hour every hour, if not "used".

But I have a feeling that the T66 require more power than both my T39 and T68 when I make or pick up a call, but that is just a feeling NOT confirmed!

Have a nice day! =o)
