Hi!

I bought the P800 on Friday from the Orange Shop in Sutton. So far, I have no problems with it and I think its the best phone I've ever had! However, I'm trying to create and view videos on my P800, which is starting to become a bit of a hassle. I took someone's advice and got MPEGABLE, but the problem is that the audio and video don't run at the same rate. One is always faster than the other and this is really annoying me. Also, the audio has some sort of weird sound which I also want to eliminate. I've used http://sep800.mine.nu/ to actually get the settings to create movies from my MPEGs and AVIs, and its OK, but I really do think it could be better. I downloaded JLOs new video last night and the video is fine, however the sound is not on the right track. Could someone PLEASE post some info about how to get good movies/videos with good sound and good video quality that works. This would be a great help for all of us!

Thanks!

Hi there,
There are lots of high quality MP4 En-/Coders, but normally as plug-ins for high-priced software, such as the latest version of adobe's premiere. The problem is, that mpeg4 isn't very popular at the moment but i think in the near future it becomes the new standard for all video/audio solutions ( also for DVD)..
With the mp4-coders of Adobe an Quicktime you'll get perfect results.

I only gave the My-Symbian link so the requester (and anyone else reading this) could also read the related questions and answers in the whole thread... much more useful than just getting a download link.

Also they might not have been aware at all of My-Symbian so it served to introduce them to that also.
