Hello everyone!

I am trying to get the most use of note application in T68i and was experiementing with maximum note size that can be sent to the phone. This was all quite empirical, but I got to the limit of somewhere around 510 characters with spaces.

Does anyone know what the maximum size of a .vnt note can be? It would be good if small books can be uploaded this way to the phone.

Thanks,
ALEX

This is quite unfortunate. But thank you! There is not much use that can be gotten out of this, but I will play with splitting long texts into 254 character notes and upload them as chapters

P.S. By the way - I am now working with your product - Theme Creator Pro - it's a great tool - and thanks for releasing it!

You can create a note with more then 254 characters, but ONLY 254 characters will be shown!
And please note then, if you use non ASCII characters, the text must be encoded with Quoted-printable encoding (see RFC 2054 specification!).

P.S.
Now I can say that: There will be a new software released be me, called TxOrganizer. You will be able to browse, create and edit contacts, notes and bookmarks (tasks and appointments will be added later). More info and a screenshot will follow...

To Ericssony:

Hvala!

Looking forward to another great product!

Do you by any chance plan to add a text splitter utility that will create 254 character notes from long texts?

Hmm... It seems that this could be a useful feature...

The first public beta version will be available in March...
