jesus, what did u do to it?
Its like as if someone hit it with a screwdriver or something.
I think u are gonna have to get in touch with an SE service center mate, looks as though its gonna need replacing...
How old is it? - Hope it is not a problem I am going to encounter later in the phones life.
Has anyone else heard or seen anything like this before?

Never had anything odd happen to my t68m(i) in over a year. Only had my t68i a couple of months so can't say as yet. Wouldn't expect that to happen, just unlucky thats happened to your screen i guess.

mate of mine had a pink dot (like the one on yours, like someone scribbled on it) on his T68, but after a while he told me it f**ked up, and threw it away. Never got a chance to see what happened, but hes now using a 3210 till he can get a replacement phone
All t68i's should still be under warranty (i think, as they came out here in the UK may/june). So take it to a SC and they should sort you out, or ring SE to check if they'll charge you

Ya I have the saem problem but you can really Notice the CRACK clear across it. My Question is to the people here who have replaced the screen before.
Is it hard? I have fixed phones before and other electronic shit.. Is it like the Nokia Screens that simply clip on and have a contact point for data transfer, or is there a cable? if so does the cable have a clip or is it like a Hard drive cable that sorta slides in the end. Those are a pain and I would prob have a store tech do it in this case. Thanks for your Replys

you know what I NEVER droped it. I paid liek $330 canadian for it so I was EXTRA carefull... I put it in my pocket with nothing in the pocket other than the phone, 30 min later took out to use it and it was cracked. i can still see a little bit of the screen so I can use it temporaily. SOny said User enduced damage $150 to replace. So Im gonna do it my self.
Its made me realy pissed at sony, the facts of their low quality controls and their inablity to deal with a Warranty issue, I'll never buy their products again, however it does leave me with a non working phone which I am forced to replaced the screen on my own.
I know they may think that it was user enduced damage, But I Work at IBM servicing Laptops with TFTs and Im aware of the fact that they r fragile... but this was normal useage situation and theres no evidence of stress on my case or marks or even scratches... its in Imaculate condition and I even sent it in and had their manager look at it, he even admitted that it looked PERFECt but all lcd cracks are User enduced. so they sent me the phone back unfixed and I had to pay for shipping. useless. regardless... thats my beef with sony and I just was wondering if anyknown difficulty level for repalcing the LCD. thanx
PS. Mine looks WAY worse than the one above. the one above appears to have "bad Pixels" this is a common issue with TFT and LCD displays. IBM warranty on TFT displays alows up to 8 bad pixels on a display before its considered defective. contact sony for bad pixel waranty replacement info. Mine has a BIG line straight verticaly from top to bottom, pink BLOB1 inch long x .5inch wide.
