I 'm a new T68i owner in Canada with Rogers/ATT. When I purchased the phone I thought I would be able to use the phone with my bluetooth computer and PDA to dial into my ISP and browse the web with from my Mac or PDA. I can't seem to make it work. The phone starts to dial and then shuts down before making the connection. Is there a way to make this work??

You can make it work. If you are dialing to the analog or isdn line of the local isp, Firstly u need sign data subscription with ur carrier Rogers ATT. Secondly have right data accounts in T68 and DUN setting in Mac/PDA. This message was posted from a R520

... Are you making a CSD or a GPRS connection? Both the connection types need to be subscribed. Tips to check by yourself, If data call divert setting can be activated in your phone, you have circuit data function already. If you can see the filled blue triangle over the signal indicator in the screen, you get GPRS function active and in coverage. It is mostly like a problem on csd dialing you met. If you want only csd on computer or pda, then no need to care data account in the phone. This message was posted from a R520

rogers att does not allow csd data access. they block it somehow, which means you cannot use your phone as a dial up connection to your ISP.

you can however use GPRS, which is much more expensive, much faster and has the added advantage of being able to revieve calls in the middle of a data connection.

right now i think you can get unlimited gprs for six months for 50 bucks a month. call 611 and ask them.

better still, switch to fido
