Just use TipicME... works better... and saves on bandwidth use. It's a unified Yahoo, MSN, AIM, & ICQ messenger

You can also use Just-Yak while it's still free (up to March 31, 2003). After that, Yakers with more than 300 messages a month will get charged at 2 cents per message.
Just-Yak is better because it shows ICQ member status (TipicMe doesn't) and does not disconnect every now and then (you will have to re-connect everytime). Just-Yak does not have the full screen chat board format of TipicMe though.

I'm happy with Tipic Me... it's fullscreen... uses very little bandwidth (doesn't matter cuz GPRS WAP is still free) ... and the app is free... well, the Beta version I got was free anyway.

TipicME can be found at
www.tipic.com
MIRC for the P800 is called SymIRC. I think you can find it at either My-Symbian or All About Symbian. Both are free for now.

Frankly, if TipicMe is able to solve that ICQ status problem, I would go for TipicMe (in fact I have it installed in my P800, my first P800 IM). I like its user interface.
@John
Are you experiencing TipicMe disconnecting every now and then and you need to re-connect manually?
BTW--Just-Yak does not give signals for incoming messages. What I actually do, is have Just-Yak monitor status and use TipicMe for messages.
