> Voice tags / Silent profile
Bookmark topic
Have searched for any possible existing answers to this problem as to avoid repetition but couldn't find anything, so...
When scrolling through my contacts to send an SMS whilst in 'silent' profile, my voice tags still play as I highlight chosen names. Is there any way to turn this off? It's quite embarrassing on the bus/in class!

I adore my T68 but this is a bit annoying... I use voice tags as it is quicker and saves fumbling through my phone book when it's not appropriate. I hope there is some way to disable this!

hopefully someone out there knows, otherwise its quite bothersome when you are in a meeting trying to scroll through the phonebook and from nowhere you hear a voice tag

Dont think you can scroll over them. But if you search for the full name and \"land\" on it, its silent. Hope this helped :-) Barry

That's very helpful, thanks

Although I'm sure there is an easier way to do it? Must be!

Have you tried lowering the volume in the loudspeaker of the phone?

Yup...I do experience such nuisance. As a result, I have stopped using voice tag.
Can be quite annoying esp when you are in meeting...
